Missions Development International (MDI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a non-denominational Christian organization.
MDI’s primary focus is to MENTOR, CONSULT, and EQUIP individuals and organizations in pursuit of ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ all across the world.
MDI brings a wealth of managerial and business expertise to help other ministries grow and prosper. But perhaps more importantly, MDI invests deeply in individuals running the ministries themselves, as such leaders are often isolated in their own environment without a place to turn for personal advice and spiritual accountability. MDI believes very strongly in the transforming power and biblical precedent of empowering those whom God has already called into His service.
MDI also aids its partners by linking them with missionaries and volunteers from the United States and elsewhere. MDI recruits and coordinates teams for short-term mission experiences, but has also helped place permanent missionaries around the world.
